The solution? Staple pieces.
Through investing in staple pieces that will last and all go together you can easily create a timeless wardrobe that will survive the change in trends. Simplicity and fit is key, but if you haven't done it before it is time to start looking at the care labels.
The care label contains valuable information about your garment and the way you will have to care for it. Will you have to pay for dry cleaning? Can it be ironed? Does it stretch? Is it made out of natural or man-made fibres? It is all there, and will help you to calculate the life-length of your garment.
Before you go shopping- get inspired. If it's a celebrity, a brand, or a friend, being inspired and having a mental image of what you want to look like is always helpful. My personal opinion is that Mary-Kate Olsen can do no wrong.
